Petrobras Palo Azul
Azul designed and built a permanent camp for 120 people at the Palo Azul Central Production Facility (CPF). Due to the high water table an elevated concrete slab construction system was used and provided easy maintenance of utilities placed under the slabs. 17 buildings were constructed with an area of approximately 6,000 square meters which included living, recreation and dinning facilities as well as electrical, potable water and sewer systems.
The construction system consisted of elevated slabs, galvanized steel structures, pre-painted metallic roofing, plastered concrete block walls finished with acrylic paint, hung ceilings, ceramic tile floors, wooden doors and aluminum windows.
