Repsol-YPF/ Petroecuador – Trans-Ecuadorian Pipeline Expansion

Azul worked for Petroecuador through Repsol-YPF and did the engineering, procurement, transport and electromechanical installation of an additional pumping unit in each of the five pumping stations: Lago Agrio, Lumbaqui, Salado, Baeza and Papallacta. The project expanded the capacity of this pipeline by 40,000 BOPD. This EPC project was completed in only 6 months and the work was carried out simultaneously in all five operating pump stations.
