We work hard to maintain good relations with the communities, including indigenous peoples, in the areas in which we operate. This includes an emphasis on the recruitment and training of personnel drawn from the local area, as well as numerous other community relations programs.

Respecting nature and our ecosystem is very much part of our philosophy. Azul maintains the SierrAzul Ecological Reserve which protects 5,000 acres of rainforest. The project supports scientific research, the preservation of unique flora and fauna and promotes ecotourism.
